Cricket for Change has been engaged by the ICC as the delivery partner for ‘peace and cricket’ projects in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka that are part of the ICC’s ongoing commitment to cricket’s ‘Great Spirit’. Cricket for Change is responsible for working with local partners to identify and support sustainable projects that promote peace through cricket in areas of conflict and tension. These projects manifest themselves in a combination of cricket and lifestyle education, often using the innovative Street20 format of the game. They bring together participants affected by conflict and social exclusion and seek to break down barriers of stigma and discrimination.
