More about Football For Social Good
We see a problem in our society, where many young people at the age from 16yrs to 30yrs face lack of opportunities to develop their very personal skills to the best possible degree they want them. What we see, is a school system, that is mainly driven by the preparation for employment, focusing on the relevant skills to fulfill employers need – while the development of personal skills and interests in sports and art like photography, etc is not part of the core curriculum. we use football to drive forward positive social change and inclusion.
Our main activities through football;
a) Organize friendly matches with other community and professional clubs fostering opportunities for youth from disadvantaged backgrounds.
b) Networking with other youth-led groups to foster peace and other social activities using sports.
c) Participate in local and regional tournaments.
d) Organize training workshops for footballers that will foster positive social transformation and connection to other education platforms under Plus One Talent Forum.
e) Inter-county tours for exploration of other cultures and backgrounds which will foster appreciation of diversity.
