As an example, our project has undertaken the mission of working with young people and children in order to increase the environmental awareness after determining through observations that this group of individuals in a certain community bahaves in an improper manner towards the ecosystem. Before the inroduction of the actions coming from the project , these subjects littered discarded softdrinks in the sport fields, made an irrational use of water while drinking or having a shower. They never worried about keeping or cleaning the sports field where they mostly practiced in leisure times. This story went this way until the captain of the project organized a strategy to change that unhappy reality wich prevailed outdoors.

Then, the leader started to workshop many of the trainers, athletes and Physical Education professors who belong to the Sport University in Pinar del Rio trying to enable these professionals to go to the community by using sports as a multitude drive to encourage the young and the child to protect the environment where they practice sports and live. Someday that sad reality changed when the group work and the sport activity started to gain more and more ecowarriors in the neighbourhood.
