AYCCDO a youth led civil society organization in Afghanistan.AYCCDO started to form a team of cricket in district 8 of Kabul city in January 2009 with its limited resources. Initially the team comprised 25 members but now the number of players reaches up to 60 persons.
Finding a play ground in Kabul for sports was not an easy task, there is a lake in district by the name of Kool Hashmat Khan, AYCCDO preferred to choose the bank of that lake for playing cricket when the water reduces in summer and some place is available for playing cricket. The team officially started its playing cricket in February 2009. Start of the project Initial contribution of AYCCDO $500.
