More about Community Street Soccer (Football) Program
The Community Street Soccer Program helps homeless, marginalised and disadvantaged people reconnect with the community through weekly football training sessions. Participants get together in a safe, stable and welcoming environment, allowing them to improve their confidence and fitness and make new friends. Our support staff also work closely with players to link them to services that address issues including homelessness, substance abuse, family breakdown and mental illness. Our program engages people who, in many cases, have given up on counselling and traditional support systems and services. It puts them at the centre of the solution and provides them with the support and tools necessary to make positive changes to their lives.
