More about Tottenham Hotspur CSR
Tottenham Hotspur uses the power of sport and the assets of the Club as a vehicle to create life changing opportunities that challenge social issues locally, nationally and globally. It mobilises the immense interest in football, utilising all club resources across CSR programmes. The Club achieves this by working in conjunction with the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, SOS Children’s Villages and the Tottenham Tribute Trust. The excellent work of the Club's community scheme resulted in the achievement of charitable status and the launch of the THF, which uses sport/football as a tool to create positive opportunities for groups and individuals. The Club’s work with SOS aims to raise awareness and generate funds for orphaned children.
The Club recently launched World Orphan Week, the charities week of action, in the UK and has financed and supported the development of an orphan village in South Africa. TTT is an organisation dedicated to serving the needs of former playing staff who find themselves in a situation that compromises their quality of life, whether financially, medically or both. In addition, the Club continues to support numerous charities in the UK providing access to Club assets, which involves access to players.
