More about Sport for Peace and Development
The project uses sport to tackle social issues and social ills that have undermined progressiveness in most of our target areas thus we envisage to teach the students a spirit of olympsium, equal rights and sportsmanship. Thus sport is a way of mobilising students in a bid to reduce stress capacity. As the participants are involved in sport they will be deliberately made aware of HIV/ AIDS and ways of preventing it. Games are played and proceeds realised go to children and old people’s homes.
