More about World Fit Walk
The World Fit Walk uses Olympians, Paralympians and National Team members of the Olympic sports to serve as inspirational role models for children ages 8 to 13 during the annual six-week event. In addition to the Walk, all forms of sport and exercises count and are converted to walking miles. The Olympian role model, the competitive nature of the Walk and the fun interaction of students has motivated them to reach impressive numbers of miles each year. Long term, our goal is to reduce the prevalence of childhood obesity in the world by increasing activity levels.
