WASH United uses football-based games (World Toilet Cup; Blue Hand Game; Handwashing Challenge) to sensitize school children and young football players about the importance of safe drinking water, good sanitation and proper hygiene.
WASH United engages international sport stars as Champions for these crucial issues. Furthermore, WASH United is not a project or campaign, but a Club. Politicians, ordinary people, school children and the superstars stand shoulder to shoulder - they are in the same team - to promote WASH for all.
