More about VAP HIV/AIDS prevention
Vijana Amani Pamoja (VAP) works with HIV/AIDS infected and affected youth, both girls and boys of ages:12-18 years. Many of these youth come from families living in extreme poverty and have lost one or both parents to HIV/AIDS. HIV prevalence continues to grow in Kenya despite various efforts to prevent it. By using soccer as an educational tool, VAP is employing innovative methods to attract young people and help them to learn effective methods and skillsfor preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS.
