Value Sports believes there is more to sports than win-ning. Our “Via- Value” program creates an active com-munity around the sports program by connecting all of the educational factors influencing the child – parents, coaches, school, and young volunteer leaders from the community This is a priceless opportunity of bringing to-gether youth from the Jewish and Arab community in tol-erant and enjoyable social activities
By developing young leadership within sports clubs and community centers, Value sports aim to transform the sports field into Israel’s largest youth movement, where children can develop themselves as athletes and good citizens. With thousands of children participating in these clubs five times a week, Value Sports is taking full ad-vantage of sports club s as a medium to teach positive values such as leadership, teamwork, tolerance, confidence, and respect which impacts children both on and off the field. Not only does learning such values help address issues of intolerance and violence in wider soci-ety, it also brings parents and coaches together in sup-porting a positive and productive environment for these youths.
