Our Passion Football, Our Persuasion Literacy and our Pulsation Character Education
The Goal is a registered non-profit organization supported by FIFA’s Football for Hope and the 2010 FIFA Legacy Fund. We believe in the power of football and education to bring about social change and personal development. Our strength and capacity is in our partnerships with international organizations and local schools, civic organizations and a committed staff and volunteer team working tirelessly to realize our mission.
The Goal’s flagship programme is their After school programme operating in Eldorado Park and Noordgesig. The Participants meet every Tuesday and Thursday at their respective sites to participate in small sided football games, literacy sessions and character lessons. The target group, boys and girls from 8 to 15 year olds. The Goal has an 11 week in school Character Education Programme, Choices aimed at Primary and High School learners.
