More about Sports for Sharing
For Education for Sharing (E4S), sports are used as a catalyst to form better citizens from childhood, through the program Sports for Sharing (S4S). S4S methodology uses adapted sports such as Basketball, Football, Ultimate Frisbee and Dodgeball to change the mindset of children, teachers and families, for them to have an active civic participation within their community. S4S provides social emotional learning tools as it is a method that transforms intentions into actions, establishes positive relationships between beneficiaries and avoids negative behaviors. The pedagogical model of S4S allows adapting sports and games to reduce the harmful issues that each community faces. S4S tackles global issues that are outlined by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). S4S aims to solve the most pressing global issues, from a local perspective. E4S embrace this approach because it allows S4S to adapt to the social context of each place where it is implemented.
