PSNI is using recreational sport to achieve broad public health and socio-economic outcomes as a replicable, scalable model in Trenton, New Jersey, a city in crisis. It is an effort to rethink models of community development and to use soccer as a cost effective and complex intervention across sectors in underserved communities as a grassroot vehicle to help achieve the UN Sustainable Development goals.
