love.fútbol is a simple human concept around communities collaborating to provide their kids a safe place to play. We work as a advisor to support football passionate communities in conducting their own project through four phases:
The Engagement Phase is when the project becomes more than a pitch, but a community building experience. love.fútbol identifies the leaders and local know-how that exist within communities and activate them into a Local Committee. This organism plays a leading role in the execution of the project by mobilizing and guiding community members.
The Construction and Inauguration Phases are when ideas are put in practice and the football field begins to take form as a symbol of union. love.fútbol provides materials, technical and safety conditions, while local volunteers are engaged in Build Days. On average, 2,000 hours of volunteer work are contributed by project.
Finally, the Post-Project represents our core objective: that the field serves as a sustainable platform for long-term social change. love.fútbol facilitates a transition from the Local Committee to a far-reaching Neighbors’ Network. By creating a maintenance plan, participants keep the field's
