We provide schools from inner city troubled areas with a Sports Based Youth Development program. The focus of this program is the development of the child, not the athlete. In other words, we create a safe environment where children can explore their gifts and talents through various sports activities. We do not operate the traditional skills, drill, teams, and leagues system. Instead, we focus on the power of positive behavior reinforcement and encouragement. It is by approaching sport in this way that allows us to engage more children and build their confidence and self-esteem. By creating a different sporting environment our Field Champions can bring hope to the children we serve, and it is this hope that catalyzes change. This change shows up in the lives of the children through better school engagement and positive life choices at home and in their community. We believe every child needs and deserves a champion, someone who can shine a light on his or her future, and that is what we provide.
