We all desire a world where there is equality. Sadly within Indonesia this is still a distant dream. Women have the same rights as men here, but discrimnation hasn't ended its just evolved. 34% of women are abused within Indonesia. Therefore, girls are growing up knowing they don't have the same opportunities and quality of life as men. They are subjected to horrendous abuse, and when we heard about this we had to do something. That is why we birthed Pledge United. A programme designed to teach teenage boys the issues about gender equality and the role they need to take to bring about a fairer society.
