Within Indonesia women have the same legal rights as men, however the discrimination hasn't ended its just evolved. Women do have the same rights as men, but 34% of women have been subjected to abuse within Indonesia. If we desire to have a peaceful society then this needs to change. That is why FootballPlus developed the programme Pledge United to help educate teenage boys about the issues around this discrimination, and how we can change our actions so there is a fairer, more peaceful society for all within Indonesia.
