More about Playdagogy Programme
In France like in the UK and all countries around the world, discriminations linked to gender, ethnicity or disabilities are a major issue. A recent report of the European Commissioner for Human Rights highlights the resurgence of acts of discrimination. Social exclusion phenomena tend to reproduce themselves, especially in underprivileged communities.
The Playdagogy program is designed to tackle social injustice and has fostered inclusive attitudes among over 35 000 children. This initiative, designed in France is now scaled on a national level and has expanded in the UK. The goal is to tackle social injustice at an early age (6-13 years old). The project is based on an active learning methodology based on sport and games: Playdagogy. Inspiring, stimulating and engaging children in ways which few other mediums can, Playdagogy builds builds children’s positive attitudes towards inclusion through physical activities to improve their understanding understanding of social inclusion. The program is also a concrete platform for stakeholders and change makers : hands on curriculums, toolkits, training, online resources allow them to multiply local initiatives and share best practices
