love.fútbol is a global initiative dedicated to the right to play in
communities that lack safe and inclusive spaces for sports. We developed a model which is decentralized by design, focused on collaboration and capacity building of local agents to conceive, plan, build, manage and ultimately redefine football pitches as centers of community and platforms for a sustainable social change. This framework has been replicated over 10 years in 29 different communities and demographics in Brazil (14), Guatemala (9), Mexico (2), Argentina (1), Colombia (1), India (1) and Egypt (1).
Raised by the passion of a community, a field is more than just
infrastructure, it's a platform for long-term change. It lays a physical foundation for play and a social foundation for future growth, creating a network that continues to evolve and develop the community long after the construction process is complete.
