Lamu has a huge problem of youth Radicalization, Drugs and Illegal groupings due to its proximity to Somalia. We use Sports to keep the youth busy, in School and away from these vices.
By engaging the youths directly, we are able to train them and give them hope in life.
The close working relationship has made it easier for them to report anyone approaching them inappropriately for us to feed the police with reliable information.
