More about KickApp Cup
The KickApp Cup (KAC) provides disadvantaged youth, along with SAP developers, the chance to create tech-powered solutions that harness the power of football for social change. Through youth engagement and collaboration, the KAC aims to amplify the impact of football-based initiatives by inspiring education through the power of sport and technology.
Through the football3 (f3) methodology streetfootballworld network members promote important life skills (communication, leadership) to disadvantaged youth globally. No other sport boasts such reach, fanfare, or cultural significance. It serves as a catalyst for change and is a tool to engage hard to reach youth in education and skill development initiatives who usually do not benefit from conventional programmes. f3 uses special football rules to create a platform for interactive social learning and empowers youth to become community leaders. f3 is a key to each KAC because it conveys the football4good concept, generates team spirit among heterogeneous teams and increases emotional intelligence.
All young people deserve the chance to achieve their full potential in life. Sport and technology are excellent tools to get there.
