More about JUMA - It starts with a job
Juma Ventures is a unique youth-run social enterprise that operates concessions businesses at professional sports venues across the United States of America (USA) with the purpose of providing meaningful employment opportunities to youth from underserved communities. Alongside the job, Juma provides youth career focused supportive services to help them overcome barriers to employment and provide a launchpad into future career and education pathways.
Since 1993, Juma has become a nationally recognized youth development organization that operates social enterprise operations at 20 major sports venues in nine cities across the country and employs over 1,000 youth. You will find Juma youth selling concessions during games such as those of the San Francisco 49ers (NFL) at Levi’s Stadium, Oakland A’s (MLB) at Oakland Coliseum, Dallas Mavericks (NBA) at American Airlines Center and Seattle Sounders (MLS) at CenturyLink Field.
Juma’s goal is to align the Corporate Social Responsibility strategies of major sports franchises, concessions companies and corporate partners toward a common vision: to create thousands of jobs for low-income young people at sports venues throughout the country.
