More about Inclusive Dance Programmes
Epic Arts is an international, inclusive arts organisation based in Cambodia. We use the arts as a form of expression and empowerment to bring people with and without disabilities together. We aim to promote the message that every person counts through our dance programmes.
Epic Arts runs a number of dance based inclusive programmes bringing disabled and non-disabled people together. The only programme of its kind in the country, our programmes use dance in Cambodia to;
- Educate through a two-year inclusive arts training programmes for disabled and non-disabled young people with a focus on the development of transferable skills through inclusive dance practice.
- Present performances that promote equality and inclusion through a professional dance company. Live performances with a combined cast of disabled and non-disabled performers present messages of acceptance and ability.
- Deliver dance lessons led by disabled teachers in schools and communities
