Global Pros is a nonprofit social enterprise that aims to capture and cultivate the proven leadership potential of small college scholar-athletes through an intensive year of professional sport and international service. The program was developed by a team of former small college athletes at the Harvard Business School and the Harvard Graduate School of Education. How it works: Similar to a Peace Corps for athletes, each selected scholar-athlete is signed with a professional team and an international nonprofit organization addressing social issues such as education, peace building, and economic development.

Throughout their post, each Pro receives state-of-the-art project management and language immersion training. At the conclusion of the program, Global Pros are guided through a specialized career preparation and placement process. Global Pros will reinvigorate the future of our leadership and global diplomacy through the power of sport, citizen service, and intercultural pluralism. Through this unique experience, each Pro gains the critical skills and global perspectives necessary to become responsible, progressive leaders in their professional lives and beyond.
