Sport in India has always been considered to be recreational and something that interferes with education. However, we truly believe in the transformative ability of sport. It has the power to unite, educate and provides a platform for marginalized youth to shine. Youngsters who might have otherwise drifted into a life of addiction and crime are now channelizing their energy to football. We are creating leaders who enjoy improved relationships with their families and communities. Most important of all, they now have increased self respect and are earning the respect of everyone they are associated with.
