The Football Foundation was founded in 2008, to tackle the post-apartheid legacy which is still evident in the Overstrand area.
The Football Foundation reaches just under 10 000 beneficiaries a year, offering multi-disciplinary sports (football, hockey, athletics, netball) and educational programmes impacting boys and girls aged 6 - 19 years old. Through participation in sport, we hope to break down the barriers amongst racial and socio-economic lines.
