More about Football for Child Development
WYCF use sport through it programme called Football for Child Development to connect schools and communities within slums communities as a medium to send out key awareness messages on the alarming issues of teenage pregnancy, early and child forced marriage practices within communities which affect the aspiration of girls to complete their education and become change agents within their communities.
WYCF use sport to initiate drama/role play among school girls and boys to spread and create awareness on issues affecting girl’s education and community development.
Our organisation key focus is to provide care and quality education to under privileged children living within slum communities of KrooBay and George Brook.
WYCF believe in education and sport is a great means to bring two and more people together within communities and a great opportunity to reach more people. One football can connect more than 22 players at once.
