FFAV is a grassroots football project, its aims is to establish open, sustainable, well-driven football structures and clubs for girls and boys ages 6-15 years with special focus on marginalized groups such as children with disabilities, HIV infected/affected, ethnic minorities and through football activities develop their life skills. Gender: There is an equal participation between girls and boys.
Each football club has girl team and boy team, who participate in regular training and represent to play in football tournaments. Disability: The establishment of the club for children with disability (CWD), which is open for regular children, has created a positive arena for CWD to learn to play football and to have fun. The existence of the club has raised awareness about disability for local community.HIV/AIDS: The red ribbon and the slogan of fighting AIDS, not people with AIDS are promoted in football tournaments, via 7 clubs for children with HIV infected/affected together with regular children and through training courses. Ethnic minorities: There is an inclusion between regular children and children with ethnic minorities. In some specific areas where there are children with ethnic minorities, they are encouraged to participate in the football clubs.
