More about Football 4 WASH
1. Design. Together with our partners Viva con Agua, we design drills by pairing exciting football exercises with the relevant WASH messages/practices. This is then incorporated into what we call the F4W Drills Manual. https://www.dropbox.com/s/uym37wef61yqanl/180404_F4W_Manual.pdf?dl=0
2. Trainings. We then do trainings of trainers of trainees (ToTs). These include teachers, pupils and students and community coaches. These are then required to carry out the programme in their school/community on a regular basis.
3. Monitor &Evaluation. We ensure that the programme happens in the schools/communities through regular year-round M&E visits to these schools and communities.
4. Workshops. We also hold one-off workshops in schools and communities.
5. Schools. We have young coaches that include teachers and pupils in over 50 schools around Uganda. These hold Football 4 WASH sessions at least twice a week
6. Communities. We hold football tournaments in communities where we also integrate Football 4 WASH workshops in the tournaments such as the Slums Derby and at the Christmas Camp and the Schools League.
