The FC Dallas Foundation is the charitable arm of FC Dallas and FC Dallas Stadium. The Foundation strives to positively impact the health and well-being of disadvantaged youth through the sport of soccer. Our Focus: 1. Build Future Sports Professionals – offer referee scholarships 2. Promote Healthy, Active Children – support health and obesity initiatives 3. Support Disadvantaged Youth – provide program and activity funding We are building future sports professionals by offering the Bobby Rhine Memorial Referee Scholarship to children ages 14-18 to obtain their referee certification and work in the sport they love. The Foundation seeks to promote healthy, active children by our involvement with such fitness initiatives as the Mayor’s Youth Fitness Initiative (MyFI) and Healthy Zone Schools.
The FC Dallas Foundation is committed to supporting disadvantage youth through activities such as Kicks for Kids, the FC Dallas Community Clinics, and our newest project, Gear Up which distributes gently used soccer gear to those in need. The Foundation also supports community development through field development. In 2013, the Foundation is building a turf soccer field in West Dallas.
