The Move and Learn programme gets right to the heart of the obesity and inactivity epidemic in England and Wales, by supporting children in communities in areas of high deprivation to improve their health and well-being.
There are 72 Clubs in the English Football League, based at the centre of communities, each with unique pride and heritage. Using the power and magnetism of the Club badge, EFL Clubs have the ability to use their network to reach groups in the community that other organisations struggle to.
The Move and Learn programme encourages children to discover the 'joy of moving' whilst introducing the importance of a balanced diet and active lifestyle.
The ultimate goal of Move and Learn is to
leave a lasting legacy and affect a long term change in an area that is at a critical level in the UK.
