More about Dressing up the Green Community with the Global Goals Totems
This project by dressing up the green community with the Global Goals totems has used the sport as a platform for performing the Global Goals. It establishes the green community in the spotlight in order to engage all stakeholders internally and externally. This lead to: at the minimum level, dramatically increase public awareness of the Global Goals; and, at the maximum level, significantly move ahead in performing the Global Goals.
The green community, in this context, is defined as the famous and revered individuals who understand the Global Goals’ Totems (GGTs), and are equipped with the requisite knowledge and skills needed to go beyond sport. They present qualities we all need: courage, application, refusal to submit to adversity and leadership. Their potential as ambassadors, as promoters of sustainable ways of living, is enormous [1].
