Empowerment of kids and Young people was at the basis of our project. We choosed soccer because children wanted to play it. We soon learnt that it was a great tool to fight discrimination and inequalities, to build solidarity and to help children with sociability difficulties. Being one of the most culturally diverse neighbourhoods in Europe, Lavapiés is the perfect place to show how the world can coexist in peace. And to play football, of course.
