More about Diversity Weeks
VfL Wolfsburg promotes inclusion and integration with numerous measures, such as the annual VfL Diversity Weeks, and does all in its power to prevent any kind of exclusion. It actively brings alive its “welcome culture” every day, and sends out a strong signal against discrimination thanks to its clear positioning on this issue.
The VfL Diversity Weeks, part of VfL´social engagement since 2014/15, are carried out every year in cooperation with the city of Wolfsburg and other project partners as well as fans and members oft he club. During these weeks, almost everything is focused on integration, inclusion, religious and sexual diversity and participation. The Club invites children and young people from a range of societal groups to use the opportunities it makes available.
Be it blind football, integration tournaments, training sessions for people with disabilities or workshops on racism and discrimination. In the VfL diversity weeks it means diversity - on and off the pitch.
