More about ClubFootball
ClubFootball was established in 2001 to address the issue that Chinese society is politically, legally and socially excluded from administration of its own sporting life and to prove that the world’s most popular game can grow from the grassroots outside government control. ClubFootball is the first grassroots (amateur) football enterprise officially registered in Beijing and the first non-government initiative to target people of all ages and nationalities who love the game and wish to develop their interest through well organized local clubs, leagues and after-school coaching courses. ClubFootball has matched international best practice with China’s unique political, economic, cultural and educational conditions to create a unique “Learn Football, Play Football, Live Football’ network that meets the needs of Chinese consumers historically excluded from membership of any such clubs. ClubFootball has introduced tens of thousands of Beijingers to the concept and reality of playing football for fun and we provide our members with multiple benefits that reach far beyond the game itself. With our strict adherence to the true global values of ‘sport for all’, ClubFootball is leading from the front in proving that football can play an important role in modern China’s social development.
