Mary Waya Foundation was founded on the premise that girls, who will grow up to become women, are an integral part in development initiatives. Netball is a form of entertainment in rural areas. The foundation uses netball to mobilise the communities and secondly to emphasise girls involvement in our projects. Our focus of netball is underlying the fact that most girls play netball and using the same model, most of the girls should be actively involved in climate change action initiatives.
