More about Chicago Bulls EnergizaBulls Fitness Program
The focus of the Chicago Bulls EnergizaBulls Fitness project is to create Fitness Centers within Chicago Public Schools to help combat childhood obesity. Each of these Fitness Centers is a permanent, sustainable facility located within the school buildings and features equipment such as bikes, treadmills, elliptical, resistance training, exergaming, etc.
The program is designed to provide access for children to exercise before, during and after school. As a professional basketball team, we pride ourselves in having some of the top athletes in the world playing the game of basketball. We feel that it is our obligation to help children of all ages; ethnicity and economic backgrounds develop a healthy lifestyle.
It is through our players and the game of basketball that we inspire children to develop positive health and wellness goals. Whether via words of encouragement, demonstration of skills or shared knowledge of success, we transfer our off-the-court activities into action through the EnergizaBulls Fitness Program.
