More about Brentford Penguins FC
The club has been created specifically for young people with Down's Syndrome in the area West of London. It focuses on inclusion, health and well-being to improve the lifestyles and social skills of young people living with Down's who previously had no opportunity to enjoy football training or meet with like-minded people and families.
Brentford Penguins FC operates with a weekly training session, set to music and with a variety of unique training methods designed to maximise enjoyment, accelerate learning and build vital life skills. It also includes the use of recycled and re-used every day materials to set skills challenges that can be sustained anywhere.
It is created and delivered by ex-professional footballer (Tottenham and Brentford) Allan Cockram, which adds another unique twist to the overall impact and content in the sessions.
