More about Breakthrough Chiparamba Sports Academy
For youths to have a complete and meaningful future, education and life skills seems to be part of the answer. Breakthrough Chiparamba Sports Academy (BCSA) sees this as the biggest and most important piece of the puzzle to a better and healthier future for most of the young people from the township. This is the reason why education and life-skills have become more important at BCSA.
In 2012, sponsored 200 boys and girls back to school and the sponsorship for each child will last until they complete secondary school. Besides Football BCSA is further involved in using the popularity of football as a mobilizing element, to provide young people with an opportunity to learn about Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH).
This includes hand washing with soap as well as safe water use and toilet usage among other key issues. In 2013, BCSA received support through FIFA's Football for Hope movement to implement WASH Programs in two provinces in Zambia
