More about Bojanala District Sports for Good Project
Sports forms part of those health activities, for someone to be well enough, this person’s personal health well-being should be improved, then he/she can go to work, play and do other important things in life, sick person cannot work or look after him/herself, it is therefore easy for healthy people to deal with their own socioeconomic issues, because of they are all well. Poverty and underdevelopment of most rural areas is still a problem around Bojanala District, and overcrowding of townships by people coming from rural areas looking for jobs around the cities has just make our problem more worse than ever before.
This is despite all Platinum Mines we are having around our areas. We still have huge number of the population who earns less than R1000 per month and expected to pay municipality services and taking care of their own kids, including school fees. Unemployed and lack of skills within and outside the workplace is still a problem, kids go to school and universities to learn, but at the end most of them are still idling because someone cannot be employed because they simple do not meet the employer employment requirements.
Even those who go to Damelin or Oxford College to learn they are not so sure whether those qualifications will be recognized by employers therefore poor kids in this country are faced with a huge struggle for them to survive, and many people remains frustrated to what is happening, without a solution.
