More about Bleu-Blanc-Bouge (BBB) rinks and activation program
The Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation proudly mirrors the spirit of the Hockey Club (excellence and perseverance). We mobilize the resources of this outstanding organization and work with the community to offer a brighter future and good health to children in need across the province of Quebec by offering them opportunities to be active and embrace good eating habits.
The Foundation’s Bleu-Blanc-Bouge (BBB) program consists of building outdoor, NHL standard, multi-purpose refrigerated ice rinks, responding to the pressing need for quality sports facilities for disadvantaged neighborhoods, allowing thousands of children and their families to benefits of an active lifestyle.
The infrastructure provides the necessary versatility for sports to be played according to the time of year. We believe that a quality infrastructure and instruction are sources of great pride that will lead to positive results and play a significant role in their development.
We also built the Bleu-Blanc-Bouge in Action program to be a fun initiation-to-skating program that would emphasize the personal value of each participating child.
