South Africa has 5.5 million unemployed Youth living mainly in townships and rural areas. Tourism, one of South Africa largest GDP input means is threatened because of a crisis in wildlife trafficking and poaching of threatened species like the rhino to extinction. Lack of tourism will create higher unemployment, poverty and a starving Africa and South Africa.Research conducted has indicated that 90% of youth in South Africa have no education/knowledge of this crisis that will directly affect them as the next generation. This SPORT project has been developed to create employment/job creation for the unemployed youth to become Sport Coaches/wildlife teachers educating the youth on these critical topics using SPORT as the education model in a FUN way. The youth need to understand and speak out for their future. Preservation of Heritage and Wildlife is imperative for a sustainable country for future generations.
