Overview
The main goal of the project was to provide post-disaster assistance to children and youth affected by the 2016 eartquake in 3 communities located in the nearby of the “zero zone" in Esmeraldas-Ecuador. The project was carried out in cooperation with UNICEF Ecuador.
Structure
1. Weekdays activities
Objectives:
-Creation of recreation spaces addressed to boys and girls using football as vehicle to improve their level of resilience
-Strengthen on 6 values (modules): self-development, respect, discipline, team work, communication and prevention.
-Create conscience around the childhood and youth´s universal rights
2. Sport festivals
Objectives
-Involvement of families and communities with the processes
-Strengthen of community cohesion
