Applications for ESPN’s 2024 Billie Jean King Youth Leadership Award are now open through May 10. Since 2019, the Award has celebrated young leaders who, like the tennis icon, are committed to leadership and service. As part of the prestigious Sports Humanitarian Awards and ESPYS, the 2024 recipients will encompass high school and college-aged students (up to 25-years-old) who are using sport to improve their communities.
This year, the award’s reach is also increasing exponentially – now recognizing three national and 20 regional young leaders! National honorees will receive a $10,000 grant, while regional honorees will receive a $2,500 grant. The charitable grants can either be awarded as a college academic scholarship or be directed to an eligible non-profit associated with the honoree.
