The world’s leading sports teams and leagues gathered at Yankee Stadium for the second edition of Beyond Sport United. Principal leaders of the world’s most popular sports joined star names and influential figures from the world of sport and beyond to explore and expand their organisation’s role in using sport for positive social change.
The Panel Sessions: several panel sessions were held throughout the day led by some of the most influential figures from the world of sport. From bullying, to rascism, to gender exclusion; speakers shared their experience and expertise to give insightful and inspiring presentations.
Breakout Panels – The What: Exploring the key issues where sports teams, leagues and their partners can have the biggest impact, attendees participated in intimate and interactive breakout sessions, with each a specific focus.
Workshops – The How: Taking what was learnt in the breakout panels and putting it into practice, workshops were hosted by experts and focused on improving social impact. Networking: After a successful day, sharing best practice and learning from national and international gurus, we created a networking occasion for the agenda setters, main stake holders our delegates to rub-shoulders in a relaxed atmosphere, to connect with their peers and talk about their upcoming endeavours.
