The Cavaliers and NBA unveil Cleveland's first Learn and Play Center

The Cavaliers joined the NBA to unveil Cleveland's first Learn & Play Center at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland on Broadway Ave.

Cavs players Joe Harris, James Jones, Shawn Marion, Timofey Mozgov and J.R. Smith along with NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, Cavaliers General Manager David Griffin, Head Coach David Blatt, Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson, Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish and other NBA and Cavs executives and representatives from the city will be on hand to cut the ribbon.

The center is part of The NBA Finals 2015. The Center, refurbished in partnership with State Farm and Kaiser Permanente, will provide youth with a safe place to play and resources to help them explore their academic interests.

This will mark the 972nd live, learn, or play space created by the NBA family.

NBA Cares community outreach programs address social issues, such as education, environment protection, health and wellness, and youth and family development. The programs established by NBA Cares provide players an opportunity to give back to their communities year-round.
