Temple University confirmed as Beyond Sport United Academic Partner
Temple University, one of the largest providers of Sport and Recreation Management education in the United States, will join Beyond Sport as the Official Academic Partner for the fifth annual Beyond Sport United.
Taking place at the Prudential Center on July 22nd ,Beyond Sport United will convene over 400 guests from various sectors of the sport and business world to explore ‘The Power of the Athlete.’ Delegates will enjoy premium content and idea exchange through a variety of speaking panels, interactive sessions, and workshops all hosted by the most influential leaders in sport and business.
Temple University, whose undergraduate program for Sport and Recreation Management is ranked number 1 in the United States by Sports-Management-Degrees.com, will host a discussion based workshop exploring Team and Athlete Foundations. Ph.D. Aubrey Kent, who serves a Chairperson and Associate Professor for Temple University’s School of Tourism and Hospitality Management, as well as a Co-Founder of the Sport Industry Research Center at Temple University, will lead the session. Kent’s expertise and work in the sport industry, coupled with Temple’s reputation for innovative teaching methods will ensure a fresh and unique perspective at Beyond Sport United.
