Nominations Open for the 2020 Billie Jean King Youth Leadership Award

March 6, 2020

As part of the prestigious Sports Humanitarian Awards presented by ESPN, the Billie Jean King Youth Leadership Award celebrates the legendary sports icon's commitment to leadership and service. It is awarded to US high school and college-aged students who, like Billie Jean King, are using sports to improve their communities with applications open through March 30.

The Sports Humanitarian Awards presented by ESPN, celebrate and honor athletes, teams, leagues and members of the sports industry for using sport to make a positive impact on society. Now in its sixth year, the evening, which takes place annually in July in conjunction with the ESPYS, honors incredible changemakers who are using the power of sports to uplift communities.

The Billie Jean King Youth Leadership Award recognizes and supports young people showcasing how they are using the power of sport as a catalyst for change within their local schools or communities.
