HONORING YOUTH WHO ARE TAKING A STAND AGAINST
INEQUALITY & INJUSTICE
For the sixth year, Beyond Sport is partnering with WWE to celebrate young leaders who are using sport to lead their communities to a brighter future in the face of adversity.
Applications for the 2022 award were open to youth using sport to lead their communities to brighter futures in the face of personal and societal hardships in the following five countries: Canada, India, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom and the United States.
The honorees will be connected to a powerful network to further expand their reach, receive opportunities to participate in global sport for social change events and be featured across Beyond Sport and WWE's channels. WWE is also proud to provide the winners with a grant to support their inspirational work.
CRITERIA & ELIGBILITY
• Must be 16-23 years old
• Must be living and working in Canada, India, Saudi Arabia, the UK or the US
• Must have a commitment and a passion for sport - on the field, as a potential career or as a platform for engagement
• Must be able to show how you are using sport to the benefit of your community
• Must be able to demonstrate adversity (disadvantaged background and/or marginalization)
• Must demonstrate strong leadership qualities
• Must enter by November 10, 2022 (7:59pm EDT / 23.59 UTC)
